I'm only taking online classes this semester, unfortunately! I'm trying to work on furthering my fashion career, so I'm taking core classes online, and the rest of the time is devoted to sketching, designing and creating prototypes for new outfits ~~like concert outfits for a certain two rockstars~~

Paris...is an utterly decadent and thoroughly FABULOUS place! The people around this one cafe are used to us by now I think. We pass by there everday and some of them recognize and talk to us. Good thing I managed to memorize a few of the phrases in my guidebook!

Some of them have been giving me tips on fashions. This one lady runs her own boutique and she liked my sketches too! It's been awesome just shopping and trying the new foods and enjoying the lifestyle...

I miss Tokyo but I'm absolutely loving this little vacation!!! I hope everyone's doing alright! Roger-kun you're having a pleasant time of it, I hope?

The play is about a group of friends in New York surviving and trying to pay the Rent. It is rampant with music numbers and there are several homosexual couples (one of which Angel is a part of, with Collins). Angel himself is a Drag Queen first seen finding Collins beaten on the street in which he sings the number "You okay honey?"

From there he doesn't appear again until Collins introduces him to Mark and Roger and he sings his song "Today 4 U, Tomorrow 4 me" Expect a lot of energy there.

After leaving Life Support, the friends save a homeless bag lady from being beaten by a police officer, only to be reprimanded by her for being pretentious artists (On The Street). As they walk away contemplating her response, Collins starts to fantasize about living in an idealized Santa Fe, where the climate and the people are much warmer (Santa Fe). Mark leaves, promising that he will try to convince Roger to go to Maureen's show. Collins and Angel then sing about their newfound love and officially become a couple (I'll Cover You).

In ACT II Angel dies of AIDS.

"On Valentine's Day, Maureen and Joanne have a fight while rehearsing for a new protest, and break up again (Take Me or Leave Me). In the spring as everything deteriorates, the cast poses the question, "How do you measure a last year on earth?" All the while, Angel's health seriously deteriorates and Collins tries to nurse him/her back to health.

Soon afterward, Angel dies. Collins is heartbroken, and at Angel's funeral he emotionally declares his undying love for him. The others also take part in the funeral, mourning the loss of such a close friend (I'll Cover You (Reprise)). Mark (the main character throughout the play) expresses his fear of being the only one left surviving when the rest of his friends die of AIDS, and finally accepts Alexi's job offer (Halloween). Roger reveals that he is leaving New York for Santa Fe, which sparks an argument about commitment between both couples, with Mark and Benny desperately trying to restore calm. Collins arrives and puts everyone to shame, stating "Angel helped us believe in love/I can't believe you disagree".

I GOT CHOCOLATE! Someone left Sacchan, Optie and me Chocolate!

And then when I went to rehearsal today, everyone had gotten me chocolates ^_^ Alexander gave me this rainbow teddy bear (~~They do things differently in America it seems, not having a White Day or some such~~), and Sayuri and the girls made homemade chocolate for all of us. It was great fun!

By the way, Opening Night for the play is March 2nd, at 5:00 pm. If you need directions just leave me a message from now until then. It's not hard to find though, it's near the college campus, so I don't expect there to be too much trouble in finding it~

Okay! Okay okay okay, so I think it went well. They asked me to sing, and thanks to some practicing I managed the wall backflip like Angel does in the movie. They were surprised and happy with that, as well as the drumsticks I had ready! I really think they liked my Angel best, so we'll see. Should know by tomorrow. Tryouts were going on all day...but they wrote down a LOT when they saw me.

Of course I'll get the part. My beauty, skills and impressive abilities were far above those others trying out for that part. <3

Tomorrow is the day! Tryouts for some small theatre's run of RENT! How we're going to pull it off with a mostly Japanese cast...remains to be seen. But ANGEL WILL BE MINE! I was born to play him! I just...know I can do it!

Kyah! This Christmas thing is kind of cool! Sakon's family has been very kind to me, and I have enjoyed being in New York once more! But I miss Tokyo, so hopefully we will be coming back soon!

I apologize, really I do! I'm sorry I didn't tell anyone we were going but...I didn't know myself. Someone decided they wanted to go in the middle of the night and I Was kidnapped from my nice warm bed and when I Woke up we were on the plane! But I will have gifts when I get back!

I'm working on a few new projects, beyond fashion at the moment. They're grand, really! Sakon seems dubious that I can reprogram the cdplayer and make it better but he'll see. My genius extends far beyond that of simply knowing how to sew fabric into something beautiful.

I've been having so much fun! America is so wooonderful! It's busy, and there's traffic everywhere (reminds me of Tokyo)! So yesterday, we went shopping in all these trendy little shops of clothing and jewelry and shoes and various other shiny beautiful things. I even met some girls who dressed similair to how I dress (though of course I pull it off better as mine are hand-sewn and carefully put together not thrown on, but still they were cute ^_^).

The shopping was fun, and just...seeing everything! It's a good way to put the English I've been learning for years to good use!

Why has he been..buying me everything? It's...defiantely new, not that I don't deserve beautiful things...but I never expected him to. I never asked him to! -flail-</lj-cut
